How do you drive traffic to your blog?

Tags:

If it were a couple of years ago, for a person as un-techy as me, there would be probably NO possible chance of gaining more traffic.

That's past tense.

Now you have Ping.sg and so-called blog communities like such, to drive traffic to you. And it's not that complicated to navigate, rather simple in fact.

But Ping.sg is just one community and it's a local one. On it's own, it will only allow the new bloggers to gain relatively reasonable traffic but comparing to a global scale, it's amateurish.

So what's the trick?

I don't know about you but I guess for me, the trick is register as many of such communities as I possibly can, such as, Buzzfuse.

Buzzfuse basically works something like Ping.sg, Tomorrow.sg and so on so forth. But it's not local.

More is always better then less.

Correct me if I'm right?

I have also used Blorama in the past which drove nice volumes of traffic to my blog, The Shlef. Also a blog content syndication software called blogrush could be promising in the future when the bugs are ironed out.
