Bid4Prizes

Bid4Prizes is a new take on online auctioning, BUT no purchases are required. In fact, to me, it's more like a game then an online auction hall.

The tradition style of auctioning is that the highest bidder wins but for Bid4Prizes it's the lowest bid that wins the prize. Kind of weird isn't it?

To win a prize, you must have the LOWEST unique bid at the end of the game. The lowest unique bid for any prize starts at one penny, but if more than one person bids a penny, then that penny is no longer the lowest unique bid, and 2 cents is. If more than one person bids 2 cents then 3 cents is the next lowest unique bid. And so on.

To start off, the very first thing you need to do is to register an account with Bid4Prizes. After you have done that you may proceed to bidding.

More information on how to play the game can be found at http://bid4prizes.com/howtoplay.aspx.

They are give away prizes everyday, so you don't worry if you didn't win today, try again tomorrow. Prizes that are awarded to the winners are rather attractive, items such as, Apple iPhone, HDTV, SCION XB, and even Cash Prize! Plus, you can bid as many items as you want!

Try it for yourself, there's no harm in trying...

Just recently I signed up for Photobucket online and in the process you are hit with an ad for bid4prizes upon signing up, this ad is displayed the same time as photobuckets signup and there is a box that you can uncheck to bypass this but when you sign in it asks for your cell number.

I signed in thinking it was photobucket and apparently signed up for this useless site Bid4prizes. I was charged on my cell phone $10.00 instantly. As soon as I saw the charge I called Bid4prizes and explained to them what had happened, the support person said that as soon as the charge shows up on their records they would issue me a refund.

So I waited a day and called back only to be greeted by a rude support worker who refused to be helpful and referred to me as being stupid.
So of course along with being insulted they have my money and I have absolutely nothing to show for it.
As far as I am concerned this is deceptive and just short of scamming someone.

Just a warning for those signing up to Photobucket and Bid4prizes.

Once the have your money forget about it.
